Participation at EDURA 2024 Global Education Fest by Maris Stella College Old Boys Association

“EDURA 2024 Global Education Fest” organized by the Maris Stella College Old Boys Association from 2nd to 6th February 2024 featured an Educational, Job and Book Fair aiming at connecting students with opportunities for higher education whilst providing career guidance support. Ms. Rumal Fernando, Vice Chairperson for Branding and Sponsorship Pillar of WiLAT Sri Lanka shared the importance of Supply Chain Management, its Challenges and the role played by Logisticians with a special mention and encouragement to female students who opt to take Logistics as an area of interest for career advancement. She also took this opportunity to relate to the students from her own expertise and experience of working in the Logistics field at her place of employment and how inclusion of women in to traditionally branded male dominant roles in the industries are benefiting to win and lead during challenging business environments. This event was well participated by many students, Parents and teaches of many schools and Universities
