WiLAT Exco & Student visit to CAA/BIA

WiLAT organized a field visit for students and professionals on January 20th, 2025, at the Civil Aviation and Airport venue, offering valuable insights into the aviation industry. The event, hosted by Nilantha Tennakoon from the Civil Aviation Authority, featured an awareness session at the CAASL & BIA auditorium, where participants learned about the operations and developments within the aviation sector. With 25 members from WiLAT EXCO and student members in attendance, the visit provided excellent opportunities for knowledge sharing and networking. Participants gained firsthand experience of the critical roles civil aviation plays in transportation, enriching their learning and professional growth.
